About me

I’m Matias Tuxen, a psychologist and coach supporting internationally mobile professionals, partners, and families through meaningful transitions.

Relocation often brings opportunity and growth — but it can also quietly unsettle our sense of identity, belonging, and direction. My work focuses on these internal shifts. I offer a structured and reflective space where people can pause, make sense of change, and reconnect with what feels steady and authentic.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. Over the past years, I have worked with NGOs, schools, individuals, and families, supporting children, adolescents, and adults in developing resilience, emotional awareness, and adaptability. Today, I bring that experience into my private practice, working with those navigating life and career transitions across borders.

My own life has unfolded across several countries — from Argentina to Denmark, Spain, Finland, and now Thailand. Living abroad has taught me first-hand how relocation reshapes not only our surroundings, but our inner landscape: our roles, our confidence, our relationships, and our sense of home.

These experiences do not replace professional training, but they deepen my understanding of what it means to rebuild roots more than once.

I believe that home is not only a place, but an inner state — cultivated through reflection, alignment, and the courage to integrate change without losing oneself.

If this resonates with where you are today, I look forward to meeting you.
